Lauren is a Maryland born artist and educator. Her early aesthetics developed while growing up on her great-grandparent’s farm, where she was enchanted by nature and domestic art. The tactile quality of her work harkens back to homemaking projects completed alongside her great-grandmother. Memories and personal journeys inspire her work, which aims to investigate the overlap of past, present, and future in our lives. Lauren lives and works in the DMV area.
